The Sun Odyssey 409 is a highly regarded cruising yacht with sparkling performance and great balance. In addition to its original features, the Tamarack model, a 2012 version of the yacht, has been outfitted with four solar panels and a bow thruster, and a new furling Gennaker sail to maximize performance in light winds during long passages. These additions improve and give us self-sufficiency and better maneuverability. The yacht also has two freshwater tanks with 520 liters of freshwater and 220 liters of diesel, providing ample capacity for extended trips. The interior is perfect for our needs, with a traditional L-shaped galley, a saloon with seating opposite, and three good cabins. The finish is high-end end in excellent condition with lots of timber finishes. There is lots of light and ventilation to make this a really comfortable space to spend time in.
